About Najaf e Hind

“Najaf-e-Hind” refers to the Dargah-e-Aaliya Najaf-e-Hind located in Jogipura, Najibabad.

Najaf in Iraq is the Burial place and shrine of Imam Ali (as) the successor to the Holy Prophet(saws)

The story behind najafehind is quite interesting:
Syed Allaouddin Bukhari, the father of Syed Raju, was the Diwan (a high official) during the reign of Shah Jahan (1627-1658). He was held in high esteem in the royal court due to his noble behavior and personal ability1. After his death, his son Syed Raju inherited his father’s post1.
Syed Raju was one of the most learned men in the palace of Shah Jahan. Shah Jahan had so much faith in the devotedness and God-fearing nature of Syed Raju that he appointed him as the supervisor of the palace1.
The Dargah-e-Aaliya Najaf-e-Hind is the site where a divine miracle related to the life of Syed Raju occurred during his lifetime1. This site acts like a spiritual magnet for thousands of people in and around the district1.
It’s fascinating how history and spirituality intertwine at places like Najaf-e-Hind!
